6. Any concerns that arise during the show must
be discussed with NRHA Representative Tim Whale. Any unsportsmanlike conduct towards the
judges, show committee or other participants will result in disciplinary
action, which may consist of forfeiture of entry fees, awards prize money and
future show participation. All decisions by the show committee will be
carefully made, and will be final and binding.
7. NON
PROFESSIONAL RIDERS showing at the South Country Slide-In must meet the
criteria set out in the 2008 NRHA rule book in order to be eligible to
compete.
8. U.S.
ENTRIES - Check your postage carefully as the rates are slightly higher
to send mail into Canada. Several
entries have been returned to sender each year, making them late in arriving
for entry deadline, draws, program etc.
The exchange rate can vary significantly from the time the entry form is
sent out to the time entries are made, thus the show management cannot set a
predetermined exchange rate fairly for U.S. entrants. Please purchase a Canadian money order for
your entry payment, as you will get the fairest exchange for your U.S. dollar.
The other option offered to U.S. participants is to pay in U.S. funds, and the show secretary will process your
entry at the current exchange rate for
that banking day, but a $20 office charge will apply for this service.
